Head of Finance, Reservoir

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the tech or blockchain industry
• Strong understanding of financial management of decentralized or blockchain-based companies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Experience with equity management and payroll systems
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, capable of working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

• Strategic Financial Planning:
• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to align with its long-term goals
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes
• Accounting and Financial Reporting:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Supervise month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relevant to the cryptocurrency industry

• Treasury and Cash Management:
• Manage the company’s liquidity, ensuring sufficient cash flow for operations and strategic initiatives
• Oversee the management of cryptocurrency holdings, including safeguarding assets and optimizing returns
• Investor Relations and Fundraising:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding financial performance and growth plans
• Prepare and present financial reports, quarterly updates, and projections to existing and potential investors
