Director of Release Engineering, Arine

• 10+ years of engineering/DevOps/QA experience (startup or regulated environment preferred)
• 5+ years managing teams (you’ve hired, mentored, and scaled)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
• Proven leadership of both manual and automated QA
• Experience with PHI, HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC2 compliance environments
• A get-things-done attitude — but always with security, quality, and trust in mind
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements

• You’ll take the lead on DevOps and QA — two functions that are foundational to our reliability, speed, and trust

• In the weeds with infrastructure-as-code
• Driving automation across environments
• Leading a QA team that balances manual test depth with CI-integrated automation
• Building secure, repeatable, and audit-friendly release processes
• Defining, Managing, and Enforcing Data Security Policies
• Continually looking for AWS cost-optimization monitoring as we rapidly scale our infrastructure

• You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Security, and Product to ensure our teams ship high-quality features quickly and confidently
• Key Responsibilities:
• Full lifecycle of releases across environments (dev → staging → prod)
• Leadership of both QA and DevOps teams
• Design and enforcement of our release gates, automation, disaster recovery and rollback safety nets
• Secure CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)
• Shift-left testing practices + test automation strategy
• Integration of security, audit logging, and HITRUST-compliant workflows
• Continuous improvement through metrics: MTTR, test coverage, deployment frequency
