Role
Who you are
- You have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- You have a demonstrated interest in product management, software development or a related field
- You are familiar with the product management field, software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- You have been involved in extracurricular activities and / or university projects demonstrating leadership skills and teamwork
- You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. We don’t support visa applications for applicants from outside the EU
- You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months
- You are able to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hour/week) internship

- Previous internship and / work experience in product management, software development, or related field
What the job involves
- You will join our Product Management (PM) team as a Product Management (PM) intern
- The team will welcome two PM interns for a six month internship at our office in Amsterdam
- Each intern will be assigned an internship supervisor, specifically Omar and An. You will also cooperate with Ragnar, as the team lead, Director of Product and one of SkillLab co-founders
- Other product manages you will work with as part of the PM team are Hadeel and Vajik
- You will be part of an expert PM team that cares for the success of our product, guiding it through its lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond
- Also, you will experience the culture of a tech company with a social impact focus and work in an international environment of ±65 SkillLabers from ±30 different countries in the heart of Amsterdam
- You will get hands-on experience in product management and work with different stakeholders to understand how each affects the product delivery (PMs, QAs, developers, designers, data science and more)
- You will make a positive change in the world by working on the end-to-end process of new product features that will elevate the people who use them
- You will work on delivering new features and enhancing current features in an agile mode (scoping, setting requirements, planning, collaborating with different teams, testing, releasing and monitoring performance)
- You will shadow our experienced product managers (An and Omar) to get familiar with the product management role in the software development field
