Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on platform, shared infrastructure, or cross-product experience work
- Proven track record shipping platform-level features in a multi-product SaaS environment, e.g. navigation systems, global UI components, design systems, or shared app shells
- Strong instincts for user experience and information architecture, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals into clear product direction
- Experience leading cross-functional, distributed teams without full direct authority in a fast-evolving, multi-product environment
- Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-focused; comfortable driving ambiguous initiatives forward
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across a matrixed organization
- Familiarity with front-end platform concepts: component modularization, design token systems, and cross-product API surface design
- An entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and a bias toward action
What the job involves
- As our product portfolio grows, so does the complexity of delivering a coherent experience across it. We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for how our products come together as a unified platform: one that feels intentional, intelligent, and easy to use regardless of what a customer is working on
- This is a high-visibility, executive-sponsored role that sits at the intersection of product strategy, design, and front-end platform engineering. You’ll lead a cross-functional effort spanning multiple product lines, working without full direct authority; but with the mandate and support to move fast and ship
- Own the product vision and roadmap for platform-level experience: navigation, global utilities, shared surfaces, and the connective tissue that ties our product suite together
- Translate customer feedback, usability research, and product analytics into a sequenced roadmap that ships incrementally and delivers visible value at each step
- Lead cross-functional execution across design, engineering, and product teams; aligning stakeholders without always having direct authority over contributors
- Drive a coherent experience across Clio’s full product suite, ensuring that as we add new capabilities, the platform becomes more unified, not more fragmented
- Define success metrics for platform-level experience and use them to guide prioritization and trade-off decisions
- Identify and pitch new opportunities to improve how Clio’s platform enables both customer value and product-led growth
- Demonstrate a keen interest in up-leveling our product craft by using AI
- Communicate clearly to executive sponsors, cross-functional partners, and individual contributors; adjusting depth and framing for the audience
Our take
Modern law firms increasingly manage their work digitally but the lack of a specialized remote solution means that workflows have become fragmented. This leads to legal practice managers having to juggle multiple software solutions across various devices.
Clio provides a legal practice management platform designed for law firms, allowing users to manage billing for legal aid cases, access and manage documents and store files across multiple devices. Whilst other startups are operating in this niche, Clio has uniquely focussed on synchronisation across remote devices and on a wide range of integrations, allowing the user to access information from other industry standard software such as Xero and Klyant from within a single interface.
Clio has raised significant funding and benefited from the COVID-era shift toward cloud technologies. More recently, the company has experienced rapid growth following the integration of AI into its platform in 2023. Alongside this, it surpassed $200M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in mid-2024 and has since grown to an impressive $500M ARR. The company was valued at $5B following a $500M funding round in 2025, with the investment supporting further AI development and platform expansion.
