Role
Who you are
- 7+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with 2+ years of deep focus on Kubernetes
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes administration, including autoscaling, network management, and high-performance configurations
- Extensive experience with Istio service mesh for secure, efficient service-to-service communication
- Proficiency in observability tools for end-to-end monitoring, logging, and tracing in Kubernetes environments
- Strong background in Kubernetes security, including access controls, policy management, and vulnerability assessments
- Hands-on experience with Helm charts and ArgoCD for streamlined, GitOps-based CI/CD processes
- Solid understanding of networking and network policies within Kubernetes clusters
Desirable
- Experience in cost and capacity planning within Kubernetes infrastructure
- Hands-on with Terraform for automated cluster provisioning and management
- Proficiency in a programming language like Golang for building custom Kubernetes solutions
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and managing large-scale microservices architectures
- Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
- Knowledge of TradingView
What the job involves
- We are using the latest technologies, ensuring our team works on innovative and challenging projects: JavaScript, ReactJS, TypeScript with NodeJS and Python, Django on the backend
- We are seeking an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our Kubernetes Team
- This team is responsible for building and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure across on-premises and AWS EKS environments
- As Principal Engineer, you’ll drive initiatives around scalability, security, observability, and automation, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust, high-performance Kubernetes environment that supports our business needs
- Architect and optimise Kubernetes infrastructure for high availability and scalability across on-premises and AWS EKS
- Design and implement autoscaling solutions to manage varying workload demands effectively
- Configure and manage Istio service mesh for secure, efficient inter-service communication
- Develop and enforce networking policies to enhance security and operational performance
- Drive observability, logging, and tracing initiatives to maintain full visibility of cluster and application health
- Implement and maintain Helm charts and ArgoCD for automated application deployment and configuration management
- Lead cost and capacity planning to ensure efficient resource allocation and operational scalability
