Head of Finance, Colossyan

• 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
• People leadership experience; growing and leading a high-performing team
• Thorough understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Have supported a business through one or two funding rounds and perhaps even a company exit under the guidance of a CFO
• Experience in working with revenue and customer software systems like your CRM, subscription management, data warehouse, and business intelligence & visualization solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both finance and non-finance audiences
• Have a general understanding of all SAAS-related legal matters and the ability to use external resources financially effectively

• As the Head of Finance, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial planning and strategic decision-making process at Colossyan
• You will be a key partner reporting to the CEO and be part of our leadership team. Providing crucial insights and analyses that support the company's rapid growth trajectory and business expansion efforts
• In this role, you will lead and mentor the Finance and Legal teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Financial Planning and Forecasting, including annual budgeting and long-range strategic planning of a rapidly scaling company
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and achievable financial forecasts
• Analyze KPIs and financial metrics to provide comprehensive business insights, detect trends, and proactively address risks and opportunities in a changing environment
• Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions, including decisions on raising equity and/or debt
• Lead and develop a high-performing, proactive Finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
• Partner with the CEO on investor relations – help prepare board decks, help with fundraising (process, due diligence, etc), update the VCs
• Partner with VP of sales: manage revenue, pays sales commissions etc
• Help with options plans, 409(a)
• Evaluate pricing and packaging decisions and be a major stakeholder in the decision-making process
• Oversee the Company’s legal and compliance matters. (EU, UK, US)
• Collaborate with the People Department around Employment-related legal questions, with the Sales team around Procurement-related legal matters and with the CEO around fundraising, IP, and Intercompany-related legal risks and solutions
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks in collaboration with external legal counsels
