Shift is an on-demand delivery platform for consumers and businesses. They use algorithms that filter through the pre-existing routes of registered independent drivers, allocating the task of delivery to the best-suited drivers based on their location.
They are currently operating within the UK with over 10,000 drivers and have served over 220,000 customers so far. Shift expects a 300% growth in active customers each year. The company has a pipeline of acquisitions and plans to grow organically and via a spree of M&As. Shift has so far acquired Techlogico, Courier Direct and JLF.
Shift has secured partnerships with a number of major retailers, including Ikea, Homebase, and The British Heart Foundation, to provide customers with personalised delivery solutions.
