Who you are
- Are you a strategic deal-maker with a passion for healthcare, life sciences, and global partnerships?
- 6+ years of demonstrated success in healthcare, life sciences, or technology partnerships
- Skilled communicator with strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building capabilities
- Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic global environment
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving deals from lead to close
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, business, or related field (MBA a plus)
What the job involves
- At BC Platforms, we’re on a mission to accelerate medical innovation and improve health outcomes using advanced data and analytics
- We’re expanding our fast-growing Alliance & Channels team and seeking a Global Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and close global partner opportunities that expand our reach and deliver long-term value
- This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape strategy, drive deals end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business
- 🏠 Work Mode: Fully Remote, Permanent, up to 20% Travel
- 📆 Start date: January 2026
- ⏲️ Working time: Full-time, flexible working hours
- Reporting to: Global Head of Alliances & Channels
- Build & qualify a global pipeline of strategic alliance & channel opportunities
- Develop compelling partner value propositions and lead negotiations through to contract signature
- Manage & grow executive-level relationships with partners to ensuring alignment and delivery
- Coordinate internal stakeholders for smooth post-contract delivery and partner enablement
- Localise and enhance sales, training, and marketing materials to support partner success
- Establish ongoing governance and performance rhythms to drive partner revenue growth

Our take
BC Platforms is a technology company offering a genomic data management platform for the development of personalised medicine approaches, accelerating the translation of insights into clinical practices. The platform is designed to support secure and efficient management, analysis, and interpretation of genomic data and provides a comprehensive solution for managing that data across the entire lifecycle, from sample collection to data analysis and reporting.
Alongside this, BC Platforms developed a Global Data Partner Network (BCRQUEST) which allows access to high-quality real-world data. This network has seen rapid growth and is now used across many sites, including a network of hospitals, and covers over 20 countries across the world, providing standard-of-care data for over 23M patients.
What began as an MIT Whitehead project in 1997 has since developed into strong scientific heritage over the past 25 years by working closely with a network of leading researchers, developers, and industry partners. BC Platforms now has operations globally and doesn't plan to slow down soon, instead, the company is focused on accelerating the expansion of its digital footprint to provide users of its services with more than 100M accessible subjects by 2026.
