Role
Who you are
- The right candidate will bring domain experience in seeking, negotiating and closing OEM embedded joint product offerings with the world’s leading networking hardware and/or cybersecurity providers
- You will have generated
- Business plans, revenue models and joint go to market activities to maximize the success of the channel relationship
- You will have significant experience in selling cybersecurity solutions, with a demonstrable track record of closing large deals across a product suite
- Minimum of 8 years of quota-carrying software sales experience
- Be highly networked in networking, security or cloud business lines
- Have 3 + years in successful OEM sales getting software or hardware embedded into these vendor solutions
- Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Quantinuum. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
Desirable
- Proven record of driving and closing large, lengthy sales cycles, ability to understand, articulate, and lead complex sales processes
- Experience closing strategic OEM partners with a joint technology solution
- Strong knowledge of the network security industry and technologies
- Track record of hitting quota by qualifying and closing consultative sales, particularly multi-year and subscription-based services
- Exceptional ability to create and foster relationships across enterprise C-suite executives and build consensus among the buying team
What the job involves
- Quantinuum are seeking a rockstar Strategic OEM Sales Executive to drive our business via channel partners through a significant period of growth and change in the market
- In this role you will be responsible for selling the Quantinuum cybersecurity suite of products into globally recognized channel partners as an embedded joint solution
- You will initiate, propose and close strategic distribution and licensing deals
- Your focus will be on new channel acquisition and expanding our offerings with existing channels
- Negotiate, influence and close OEM embedded joint products with tier 1 solution providers in security, networking and cloud verticals
- Deliver revenue targets and quotas for embedded channel sales, whilebuilding a longer-term pipeline of opportunities
- Develop and execute the channel sales strategic account plans for embedding our products withinpremiervendors/solution providers
- Discover and understand the go-to-market strategies, needs and risks, developingwin-win business solutions
- Gain a deep understanding of the account’s executive decision makingand buying processes,identifyingstakeholders and mapping to Quantinuum counterparts
- Deliver value driven presentations to generate demand
- Network extensively and build relationships with C-Suite decision makers, champions and multiple decision influencers in your target channel accounts
Our take
The processing power of quantum computing (QC) promises to yield substantial advances across dozens of diverse industries, from the development of pharmaceuticals, to the chemical industry and financial services. Billions are being poured into the steady development of these computers, both into the hardware and the specialised software which can harness these devices.
Quantinuum was formed out of the merger of Cambridge Quantum and Honeywell, QC software and hardware firms respectively. These two highly respected companies had independently made quite a stir in the QC space and attracted a high degree of investment, and their merger has created the world's largest integrated QC company, able to build and operate quantum computers at both the hardware and software level.
The organisation has moved fast and has already developed software and hardware for the application of QC in chemistry, natural language processing, machine learning, algorithms, and cybersecurity. All of these are exceedingly lucrative and high-stakes areas of business, and it is leaders in precisely these sectors (Google, for example, and IBM) who are investing so heavily into the QC project.
Quantinuum's software is system agnostic, allowing the advances it makes to be used on other quantum computers as well as its own, opening up major business opportunities. So Quantinuum is working in conjunction with some of the sector’s major players, whilst also pursuing high-value customers and lucrative market opportunities. It’s remarkable work, and impressively funded to match. It will continue substantially impacting the progress of key industries going forward.
