- As a Client Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in the growth of Canadian businesses by providing them with financing and helping them evolve
- This is an entry-level contract role, with the potential for extension and the opportunity to apply to internal postings following the probationary period
- Generate interest in Merchant Growth financing products through high-volume outbound cold calling using established databases
- Understand and explain procedures and concepts relating to financing options/structures
- Listen to customers, understand their needs and resolve customer issues
- Respond to requests received in a courteous and timely manner
- Review the knowledge base for the appropriate response to the request
- Referral or transfer of requests to the appropriate sales and business development team members
- Utilize systems and technology to complete customer management tasks
- Explain the product, and process to the customer
- Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling

Small business financing has become a top priority for many of the world’s global economies. Merchant Growth provides credit solutions for small businesses in Canada, providing an automated credit adjudication engine and an easy-to-use interface for small business owners
The company has become one of the fastest-growing lending outfits in Canada, and has continuously added to its offerings. This includes rolling out a B2B Buy Now Pay Later product, as well as acquiring Lendified (a Canadian small business financier) in 2023 to expand its customer base.
The biggest risk for Merchant Growth in this enterprise will be regulatory. While they have a serious technological advantage, authorities are sceptical about the impacts of such easy access to credit and may crack down on fintechs like these in the medium-term.
