What the job involves
- Identify and understand organisations aims and objectives and match them with Numeral’s product offering to create compelling cases for payment operations upgrades
- Execute outreach campaign aligned to sales strategies on our defined customer ICP in payments, levering multiple channels and tools
- Manage multiple prospect relationships and manage the opportunity pipeline effectively, pushing through qualified opportunities to your partners in sales
- Use social media and other online tools to build relationships with key decision-makers in our market
- Set up and deliver introductory Numeral conversations with key clients and be present at formal meetings with Sales Directors
- Partner effectively with our Marketing and Sales teams to identify and execute communication strategies, making the most out of our webinar, podcast and content calendars
- Capture and prioritise leads from a variety of sources, being creative and proactive in your approach
- Manage inbounds leads to qualify them by conducting discovery and understanding the pain points that Numeral could create value against
- Attend strategic payment events to understand the overall ecosystem and create lasting relationships with key stakeholders within companies
- Own your opportunity pipeline and report on monthly/quarterly/yearly goals
Our take
Yearly EU bank payments total a value in the trillions, and yet the technology infrastructure processing these payments is often massively outdated - based on practices developed as far back as the seventies. That’s the opportunity that Numeral’s founders are going after.
Numeral's payment automation API lets tech companies connect to its bank account to automate payment operations. The company's target clients include fintech, insurtech, and real estate companies similar to their initial clients Spendesk and Swile.
The startup has an impressive ambition which aligns to its global customer-base who are banking in multiple countries, with its greatest challenge likely being to scale effectively. Its launch in the UK, however, has gone some way to prove it can handle growth, now integrating with UK banks SVB UK, Barclays, and HSBC.
