Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in program and/or project management working in systems based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Knowledge of product development life cycle and methodologies
- Experience in advertising and/or consumer technology product management
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk, leveraging technical solutions and processes
- Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle complex information, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks
- Strong track record of project management success leading engineering teams
- Hands on experience with Agile, Kanban or Scrum, Waterfall or other web project management methodology
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of experience
What the job involves
- The Program Manager reports to the Sr. Director, Program Management and leads a variety of product development and business initiatives, playing an integral role in all aspects of the software development life cycle
- In this role, you will partner closely with our Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data and Business teams to build a best-in-class solutions and resolve challenges
- You'll manage enterprise-level programs and/or multiple projects within each product line (Connexity, Skimlinks, ShopYourLikes), while having responsibility for developing a consolidated view of the program
- Program deliverables include: schedules, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination, and regular communication of status
- Lead projects throughout entire development lifecycle: concept, design, production, testing, and release of projects
- Partner with engineering & business team to define timelines and milestones for technology projects
- Communicate and own project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage projects efficiently across multiple divisions and time zones
- Drive innovation through contribution and sound judgment within the engineering teams
- Stand at the intersection of the engineering and product teams, and be a true business partner to all organizations
- Facilitating the AGILE process so priorities are met, while focusing, empowering, and coaching your teams to success
- Communicate with fellow project managers, engineering teams, & business partners regarding project risks or changes in scope and timing
- Resolve obstacles through strong internal partnerships, clear plans of action, and creative problem solving

Connexity, which was first founded as Shopzilla, offers online sellers and publishers a means of building revenue and finding new customers without having to sell data to big-name advertising and discovery brands, namely Google and Facebook.

In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
