Role
Who you are
- At least 2 years of experience in a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence role
- Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
- Expertise in data visualization and reporting, specifically with Looker (experience with Tableau, Power BI, etc., is also valuable)
- A genuine excitement for data visualization and data storytelling
- Data modeling and dbt skills are beneficial, but not required
What the job involves
- As a Reporting Analyst, you will be instrumental in elevating our reporting solutions within Looker to the next level
- You will focus on creating an easy-to-use solution in Looker that offers a comprehensive suite of core reports, while also enabling self-service capabilities in collaboration with our Analytics Engineers
- While the majority of your responsibilities will center around structured, ongoing reporting, you’ll also be the go-to person for specialized, one-off data inquiries and analyses
- Your role will involve a lot of data storytelling
- Elevate our current reporting solutions in Looker, focusing on ease-of-use and a strong set of core reports
- Enable self-service capabilities within Looker in collaboration with our Analytics Engineers
- Drive company-wide reporting initiatives to provide actionable insights across various departments
- Apply strong data visualization principles to make data easily understandable, focusing on data storytelling
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Handle ad-hocs requests for reporting, analysis, insights

For many people, filing taxes is still a painstaking, confusing and outdated process. In Germany alone, around 10 million people each year decide not to claim their tax refund for this reason. Taxfix solves this problem by making it easier to file tax returns and claim rebates.
Taxfix serves as a personal tax accountant, something that many of its users don't have access to. The app functions much like any chatbot, offering in-depth guidance and optimising the tax filing process. Users can typically file their taxes in under 20 minutes using the app, which will appeal to anyone looking to save time and effort on their personal finances.
Taxfix is not alone in offering this service, but it sets itself apart from rivals thanks to its mobile-first approach. The company has been well-served by its innovative and attractive app interface and acquired its German competitor Steuerbot in 2023. A year later it entered the UK market by acquiring smaller competitor Taxscouts, establishing itself as the European leader in its sector.
