Role
Who you are
- You have 5+ years experience as a Business Development Manager or in a business growth role working in a B2B consultative sales environment
- Experience selling to Enterprise level clients and delivering to targets
- Well-developed sales skills including problem-solving, presenting. negotiation, managing objections and closing
- You have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while working within a small/growing sales team
- You are a self-starter and comfortable in building your own momentum alongside support from colleagues
- Experience working within a (Series A-C) startup in a fast paced and high growth environment
- Experience in creation of market and taking a new product to market
- You have an interest in health and wellbeing. You’ll be motivated by the idea of being part of a force for good
- Experience in selling to UK healthcare providers and insurance companies is a major plus

What the job involves
- We are searching for a Senior Business Development Manager to focus on private partnerships within our growth team
- The HelloSelf growth team is responsible for supporting our existing partners to enable access to psychological therapy for their populations and identify opportunities to build on these relationships
- Become an expert in our services and how they can offer solutions to our private sector partners including insurers (private medical insurance and income protection), private healthcare providers and case management organisations
- Be accountable for managing the sales process from discovery to close, acting as an effective and professional ambassador for HelloSelf
- Be accountable for achieving growth targets jointly set with Growth team leadership
- Be responsible for building your own pipeline as well as working alongside our marketing function to devise strategies for inbound lead generation
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their challenges and offer solutions for how HelloSelf could help address them
- Manage multiple stakeholders within each client including C-suite in large organisations
- Be able to easily identify customer needs and clearly articulate our value proposition in a personable and ethical manner
- Work closely collaboratively with HelloSelf teams including: customer success, clinical directors and technology to design and present solutions to our partners
- Attend events/ industry roundtables and represent HelloSelf
- Be professionally accountable to the Head of Private Partnerships in our Growth team

Now, fresh investment will help the company further expand its network of therapists, partners, and members across the UK and Continental Europe, bringing accessible mental health services to more of the people that need them.
