Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about Human Resources, recruitment, and helping to shape the future of our workforce
- Must be enrolled in a university or college co-op program, with a focus on Human Resources or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for candidate interactions and internal team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency
- Proficient in Google Suite, familiarity with an applicant tracking system or HRIS is a plus
- A strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information
What the job involves
- We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team for the Spring 2025 semester
- As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, candidate engagement, and recruiting operations
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth process for both candidates and hiring managers
- Draft, post, and maintain job postings, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging
- Communicate with potential candidates to provide updates, answer questions, and maintain a positive candidate experience
- Support initial resume reviews and present recommendations to hiring managers
- Route offer letters to the appropriate parties
- Complete a talent acquisition project that focuses on diversity & inclusion initiatives or process improvement efforts
- Duration: January - June (averaging 30-40 hours per week)
