Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in a high-growth technology company is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP), Salesforce, and other financial systems
- Expertise in managing financial operations for a global company, including intercompany transactions and consolidations
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-improvement mindset
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
What the job involves
- As VP of Accounting, you will lead and transform our accounting function, driving financial excellence while optimizing NetSuite and Salesforce. This is a unique opportunity to shape a world-class finance organization, collaborate with executive leadership, and play a critical role in Ataccama’s continued expansion
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and drive operational excellence
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with FP&A to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
- Optimize and automate accounting processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy
- Ensure proper revenue recognition practices and adherence to accounting policies
- Support capital planning and financing strategies, including securing lines of credit and optimizing banking relationships
- Oversee financial system integrations, particularly with NetSuite and Salesforce
- Support senior leadership with financial analysis and insights to drive business performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, RevOps, Legal, etc.) to align financial strategy with company goals
- Implement best practices for cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and collaboration
