- As we continue to innovate in the emerging field of carbon dioxide removal, we are seeking a visionary Head of Marketing/Senior Marketing Manager to lead our team and elevate our marketing strategy
- This role requires a unique blend of business development acumen and a deep understanding of product and content marketing practices to navigate uncharted territories in our industry
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our 360’ marketing functions (including campaign management, communications, PR, thought leadership, brand positioning, and copywriting) but with a key focus on building the bridge between content, brand, product marketing, and business development
- With two highly capable team members already managing substantial responsibilities of content, communications, and brand, the Head of Marketing will provide strategic direction and bring fresh perspectives to enhance our brand's impact
- Reporting directly to our Head of Business Development, this role is critical in shaping our market presence and guiding our innovative solutions to success
- You will report directly to Chloé, our Head of Business Development and a core member of InPlanet's leadership team overseeing the entire commercial function
- In this role, you'll closely collaborate with Giselle, Senior Brand & Design Strategist, who is responsible for brand cultivation, thought leadership, and manages our talented Studio Team of creative professionals
- Additionally, you will oversee Amanda, our Social Media and Science Copywriter, who is crucial in producing impactful content for our audiences
- As a core member of InPlanet you will partner closely with all departmental leaders especially, our Head of Carbon, Head of Science and COO Founder & CEO Founder to maximize our brand’s impact
- Partner with our Head of BD to develop, drive, and execute the overall marketing strategy in accordance with company OKRs
- Bring a product marketing mindset and experience to drive business
- Build the bridge between business development, product, digital, brand, and content marketing
- Develop a communication and campaign strategy with the marketing team
- Establish digital, performance marketing metrics and build strong relationship with the BD & Sales team
- Enable and support the effective participation of core events in the CDR space
- Set an effective but realistic PR strategy
- Oversee content and copy creation workflows
- Target our customers and key audiences through various channels like Social Media (LinkedIn), Newsletters, and other solutions
- Optimizing our website flow with the team to drive success and conversions
- Contribute to creative direction & brand quality control
- Embed thought leadership of ERW and CDR into our marketing strategy
- Build and coach the marketing team for future growth

Our take
InPlanet is a carbon dioxide removal (CDR) company, tackling the challenge of carbon emissions in agriculture - particularly in tropical regions heavily reliant on synthetic fertilisers. It does this through a method known as enhanced rock weathering (ERW).
Throughout the Earth’s history, most atmospheric CO₂ has been removed through weathering of silicate rocks. InPlanet accelerates this natural process, by crushing these types of rocks and spreading them as rock powders on agricultural land - which also increases the soil quality of the land.
The company plans to remove 1 million metric tons of CO₂ by the end of 2026, emphasising ERW's potential for both carbon removal and sustainable agriculture. Seed funding secured in late 2023 is being allocated to scale Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) capabilities, facilitating the company's ambitious and transformative plans.
