Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of copywriting experience
- A solid understanding of what a good brief looks like, and be able to answer it with high-quality copy that drives product engagement
- Experience of working with a Style Guide or tone of voice guidelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in financial services – preferably in technology-driven & scale-up environments
- A strong copywriter portfolio. Please share this alongside your application
What the job involves
- Understanding what a good brief looks like and answering it with high-quality copy that drives product engagement
- Jargon busting! Turning technical information into simple, compelling messaging and content
- Creative copywriting across multiple formats, including CRM, mobile notifications, social media, blog posts, whitepapers, infographics, reports, interviews and video scripts
- Passionate about customer experience, with a focus on delivering the best, most engaging content for SMEs
- Reviewing, amending and approving existing content, including the work of other writers. You’ll be a source of support and guidance for more junior writers both in the team and around the business
- Collaborating with multiple teams, including our copy community, to deliver Tide’s overarching strategy
- Confident in communicating with various stakeholders to provide updates on projects
- Working with a stellar content team who have a proven track record of delivering excellent copy

Since its launch Tide has gained considerable traction among small businesses. This is largely thanks to their fast onboarding times, low fees and the diversity of their products, which include a number of accountancy tools. Headed up by a former RBS, C&A and Optanus executive, Tide is uniquely positioned within the financial services market.
Having built a strong user base of over 500,000 in the UK, Tide has since launched in India, where it has an additional 50,000 users. Through further expansion into Europe and continual addition of 'first-of-its-kind' features, Tide is well set to secure a larger market share.
