Senior Tax Accountant, Circle

• Circle is looking for an experienced and exceptional Senior Tax Accountant to join its high growth team
• 4+ years of income tax compliance and financial reporting experience with a combination of large public accounting firms and corporate tax departments
• Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills. Ability to creatively complete tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development

Desirable

• This role will provide support for a broad range of tax matters, including compliance & reporting, and various special projects
• Preparing aspects of the global tax provision in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Assisting with domestic and international direct tax compliance
• Assisting with income tax audits and notices from various tax authorities: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc
• Monitoring and keeping abreast on changes in tax laws, rules and/or regulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests
• Driving improvements to the company's overall tax position and assisting with special projects as needed
