- Curiosity for all things beautiful: while we do not design for design's sake, your appreciation for the finer details matters. Good design isn't noticed, but felt; you deeply understand this concept
- A strong eye for craft and detail
- Intuition for what performs in consumer-facing paid marketing
- Exceptional skills with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- A bias toward action and execution - you’re happiest when you’re creating and iterating
- Great communication and collaboration skills that help you work with performance and brand marketing teams, translating a brief into final marketing materials, maintaining brand consistency across channels and different ad sizes/types
- 2+ years of relevant experience designing consumer-facing marketing materials (paid social, email templates, print materials, OOH assets, etc)
- An online portfolio of your work
What the job involves
- As a Marketing Designer at Solace, you are responsible for bringing our brand to life across high-impact, performance-driven channels
- You’ll design compelling creative that communicates the healthcare experience of the future in a way that’s clear, human, and engaging
- You will be expected to distill complex ideas into beautiful, effective marketing design that performs
- This role requires equal parts clarity, creativity, and speed, along with a strong command of design tools to bring our campaigns to life in dynamic ways
- You will be held to high standards, but you will do some of the best work of your life here
- You get a rush from seeing your designs live in the world - shipping ads, testing performance, and iterating based on results
- Bring beauty and simplicity to complex ideas through on-brand marketing creative across multiple channels (paid social, email templates, print materials, OOH assets, etc.)
- Concept and complete high-quality, launch-ready assets that speak to our audience demographics in an emotional and compelling way
- Be autonomous: you’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams: you’ll partner closely with performance, integrated, and lifecycle marketing to find elegant solutions to design challenges
- Actively participate in creative testing and iteration, using learnings to inform future work
- Learn and become a guardian of our consistent design framework and standards to bring the Solace brand to life
Our take
The US healthcare system is complex and difficult to navigate. This leaves many patients overwhelmed with paperwork and insurance claims, and struggling against limited provider availability.
Solace has set out to tackle this issue, by connecting patients with expert healthcare advocates. These professionals, including former doctors and nurses, offer support and guide patients through their healthcare challenges.
With substantial funding to its name, Solace is in a position to expand its services, grow its network of advocates, and enhance coverage across Medicaid and private insurance plans. Alongside a partnership with Medicare, Solace aims to make healthcare advocacy more accessible and continue empowering patients with expert support.
