Role

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Strong proficiency in .NET
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with React and Nextjs
- Experience with scalable system architecture and microservices
- Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices
- Ideally previous experience on fintech industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in agile environments
- Background in mentoring or coaching engineers
- Building secure, scalable web apps; strong grasp of API integration and data modelling
- Comfort with iterative delivery, trunk‑based development, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing
- Experience with RBAC/authorisation, audit/logging, and handling PII
- Collaborative mindset; able to work with Product, UX and Compliance SMEs
Desirable
- AML/KYC or regulated‑industry portals; case/workflow systems
- Experience integrating with Reapit/MM/Land Registry and KYC providers (Credas/CallVal)
- Observability (metrics/tracing), performance tuning, accessibility
What the job involves
- We're looking for a Senior Tech Lead/ Solution architect to guide our engineering team, drive technical decisions, and help shape the future of our projects
- Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Contributing to the architecture and implementation of scalable systems
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architectural guidelines
- Conduct code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a strong engineering culture
- Identify technical risks and bottlenecks, and propose solutions proactively
- Enterprise stakeholder management, cross‑stream planning, risk/issue management, reporting cadence
- UX/UI Designer: design system alignment, accessible forms/tables, prototypes/usability testing
