Who you are

We are looking for exceptional engineers who are passionate about delivering great AI products
Demonstrated experience developing complex applications leveraging API-based LLMs, and strong familiarity with LLMs and their capabilities
A degree in computer science or software engineering. Additional or directly relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
7+ years of experience in Python development and shipping Python code in production environments
3+ years of experience solving complex problems using modern AI/ML techniques
Experience in software engineering and with data structures and algorithms
Comfortable working cross-functionally across both research and product teams
Experience with large-scale high-load distributed systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work asynchronously
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD or other similar technologies
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
Training and deploying modern machine learning pipelines

Desirable

Any of the following skills would signify a excellent fit with our team:
Experience in data science methodologies and technologies
Computer security and security research
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or other operational roles
Experience in Spark, Databricks, Weights and Biases, Airflow, MLFlow, or other MLOps/AIOps technologies

We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer who will be directly involved in developing our core AI technology and products
You'll be part of a team of globally distributed AI engineers and researchers, developing features for SentinelOne products
As a Staff Platform Engineer on our team, you will develop and ship features for AI team products and services. You will implement features in Python, write robust tests, tackle bugs with finesse, and ensure top-notch security and quality in our platforms
You will collaborate across multiple engineering teams to design and build new capabilities that will be used across SentinelOne’s industry-leading platform

Our take

Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation with machine learning-focused software designed to help businesses defend against online attacks.

The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although it also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.

When the company went public in 2021, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market capitalisation of $10 billion. However, it's since fallen to around $ 4 billion. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
