Strong technical skills that allow you to read, write and debug code (Javascript/Node.js preferred)

Relevant experience working in a Solutions Engineering role, ideally in dev-tools SaaS environment

What the job involves

We're looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to ensure our customers get the best out of Checkly. You will be part of the Checkly Customer Organization and will report to Tony, our VP of Sales
You will become an expert on Checkly and the Monitoring space, helping drive the Monitoring as Code revolution
You will work with customers during the different stages across pre- and post-sales
You will assist prospects with the technical evaluation of Checkly, from first demo to the successful implementation of Checkly. You will own this process
You will speak with our customers directly and share your learnings with Product and Engineering, helping shape Checkly
You will assist in continuously improving technical documentation, processes and policies
During your onboarding you will be involved in our Customer Support to learn our platform inside out and understand our customers. After that, you will chip in Support when needed from time to time

Our take

DevOps introduced more automation to the software development process and lifecycle, allowing new applications to be on the market at a quicker pace. But with progress comes changes and new requirements for developing, testing, and deploying applications, thus requiring transformation for modern monitoring systems.

Checkly is an active monitoring platform designed for developers. The API is programmable, flexible, and works well with JavaScript. Checkly allows cross-functional DevOps and engineering teams to run deep API monitoring and Javascript-powered flexible frontend tests across 20+ global data center locations.

The transaction monitoring tool makes it easy to regularly test interactions with front-end websites without having to actually write any code. Pricing for its services starts at $7 per month for individual developers, with plans for small teams starting at $29 per month. Looking ahead, funding will be used to expand Checkly’s engineering team and build out its platform.
