- You have solid knowledge of marketing, content creation, graphic design, social media, or video production
- Have previously at least done one internships in a similar environment
- Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, with an in-depth attention to detail
- You are comfortable navigating and discussing topics related to AI and innovation, and are curious to dive deeper into the space
- You are experienced with common design and production tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, AfterEffects, Canva, Figma, etc; and
- Based in Berlin
What the job involves
- As a Founder’s Associate, you’ll be at the heart of building an community-first organization - helping drive momentum, excellence, and purpose at the frontier of AI
- You’ll also play a vital role in amplifying the voice of our AI ecosystem by creating compelling, strategic, and educational content for a global audience
- You’ll work closely with our marketing team, to showcase and amplify the meaningful work, insights, and people building the future of AI
- Work hand-in-hand with the growth team to own, execute, and steer a wide range of high-impact growth projects
- Strengthen relationships with the leading AI startups, AI infrastructure companies, investors and industry leaders - building bridges and keeping our community growing
- Shape the topics of our events and initiatives - bringing your ideas to the table to spotlight the most relevant topics and individuals in the world of AI
- Keep our engine running smoothly by ensuring project materials and communication are sharp, timely, and aligned with our stakeholders
- Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to execute marketing strategies aligned with business and community goals
- Creation of multimedia promotion for events, and producing post-event content (e.g. posters, event recaps, social media posts, photos, video snippets, etc.)
Our take
Predicting AI as the most significantly growing tech field of this century, Merantix aims to apply machine learning to sectors that can benefit most from it. After a robust, highly selective vetting process, Merantix identifies founders and collaborates to provide support and funding to scale their businesses. The company integrates all areas of AI, building a complete talent pipeline and fund for venture scaling. Successful examples include Vara, SiaSearch, and Cambrium.
Merantix differentiates itself from typical venture capital firms through its approach. While most VCs invest in established businesses, spreading funds across many companies and taking losses while focusing on winners, Merantix tries to pick winners at the earliest stage.
The launch of an AI Campus in 2021 significantly increased the company's ecosystem, allowing it to explore new fields. Through strategic partnerships with SoftBank and the AI City project in Dubai, Merantix is growing. It has incubated ten successful startups so far and aims to produce even more in the coming years. Merantix is raising a new €100 million fund to co-invest in startups, marking its largest fund yet. This fund will be allocated to co-investing in external startups, investing in incubated startups, and supporting existing investments.
