Our take
Firebolt is a data storage company that works with big tech and corporations to help store and analyse the massive amounts of data that the tech industry amasses. Whilst the norm might be for companies to use several data storage services to look after their information, Firebolt offers an all-in-one package that it claims to be a “new kind of cloud data warehouse”.
Firebolt is not without competitors though. Having only emerged from stealth in 2020, the company competes against legacy data storage leaders Snowflake and BigQuery. But with such a huge injection of funding and influential ex-Google engineer Mosha Pasumansky as its CTO, Firebolt is making a name for itself.
