5+ years of experience in frontend teams, ideally using ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript and NextJS in a full stack environment
Experience with testing with tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright
Natural ability to write clean and elegant code whilst being diligent and pragmatic in equal measure
Experience utilising all the latest cloud, CI/CD, APIs, Security, etc. utilising the best public cloud platforms
Experience in turning Figma/XD/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect interfaces
A passion for automation and repeatability to allow your creations to be tested efficiently
Data interoperation and UX skills
Ability to troubleshoot and investigate issues across systems
Desire to build, maintain and improve anything you work on with a high level of ownership

Web3 experience is a plus

You will help build and architect the foundation of the Helio software platform which all other systems will flow from and interact with
You will use all your previous experiences, skills and initiative to get things right from inception - which is to a naturally high standard of code, logic and engineering prowess in general
We want to build a platform that is led by engineering excellence paired with pragmatic approaches to solving problems and delivering Fintech-grade quality throughout our products and services

Our take

Web 3.0 technology has the potential to transform the way payments are made, by allowing money to be exchanged without intermediaries – simply, quickly, and anonymously – but it remains a confusing and fringe notion for most. Helio is building a platform to bring Web 3.0 to the forefront of online payment, with the ultimate goal of driving payment costs to zero.

Helio, built by an experienced team and launched in 2022, was created to tackle the archaic and expensive payments market which the company says is built on a flawed incentive structure. It can be embedded into websites or apps by using its API and libraries but, importantly, it can also be used to make no-code Web 3.0 payments, by users connecting their Solana wallet. Transactions are low cost, operate at Visa-scale speed, and are carbon neutral.

Since its launch, Helio has been tested by thousands of projects and users, and processes close to a million dollars in transactions weekly. The company is investing in growing its sales and marketing teams in an effort to expand its partnerships with other platforms and marketplaces.
