Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math, Data Analysis, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Operations, business analytics, consulting, or finance. Preferably experience working for a fast-paced organization
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative fundamentals and the ability to adapt work to different platforms and tools
- Experience with either Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Strong knowledge of SQL is a must
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Craftsmanship: Willingness to go the extra mile to get things done, with the ability to find different ways to reach the desired outcome
- Ownership: Ability to operate independently and bring projects to fruition regardless of circumstances. Proactive in finding solutions and seeking guidance when needed
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adjustability in a rapidly growing and transforming operations organization
- Communication: Expert communicator, adept at explaining processes with clarity through both spoken and written communication

- As an Operations Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of coordinating multiple projects within the operations landscape
- This role combines strategic business acumen with data analytics proficiency, requiring a solid understanding of business and technical aspects
- Reporting to the COO you will play a crucial role in optimising operations and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes
- Translate business needs into actionable, systems-oriented solutions, including the development of Power BI dashboards
- Guide operations teams based on analytical insights
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for the broader operations organization and management
- Leverage data to create progress reports and identify potential roadblocks, escalating to management as needed
- Gather and organize feedback from the operations team for the development of new dashboards, aiming to streamline tasks and enhance performance tracking
- Coordinate and oversee various projects within the operations department, from modeling and planning to implementation
- Ensure alignment with company goals and timely delivery of projects
- Analyze and evaluate operations performance, developing automated methods for information sharing across teams and geographical locations
- Develop operations forecasting models in coordination with the COO
- Monitor performance against targets and forecasting

Unlike your standard taxi services like Uber, Welcome offers a more holistic in-destination travel experience that, from the moment you arrive at a destination until departure, accommodates any travelling needs, such as transfers, activities and travel information. Its success is evident with the company having made a footprint in nearly 100 destinations worldwide from Edinburgh to Abu Dhabi, Moscow to Santiago.
Since its round of 2022 funding, the company has developed a traveller app to optimise customer experience. Capital will continue to be invested into increasing its destination network whilst expanding its product offerings and industry partners, such as airlines and cruise lines.
