Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-4 years’ prior sales/business development experience and proven track record is preferred
- Knowledge of SLED procurement processes and regulations, as well as CJIS security standards and policies
- Experienced in responding to SLED government RFI’s and RFP’s
- Excellent customer service and telephone manner
- Accounting and financial basics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organization, time management, and professional appearance
What the job involves
- Smarsh is seeking an Account Executive, SLED to join our fast-growing Sales team. This candidate will actively engage with prospective new clients via phone, and web conference to introduce Smarsh products and value proposition
- Account Executive, SLED should possess a results-oriented mentality, have an energetic personality, know the value of being a good team player, and be driven in determining your own W2 at the end of the year!
- Lead generation, qualification and opportunity management to contract closure with majority of sales conducted via phone and online demos. Some onside demos as well
- Build and maintain client base, with a strong sense of customer satisfaction
- High volume of out-bound calls to a new client base
- Provide high quality service to your clients
- Develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and build reliable forecasts
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all colleagues and customers
- Educate clients on packages and options applicable to their situation demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs
- Other duties as assigned
