Who you are

Proven experience in designing, running and troubleshooting large scale systems operating in multiple regions
With relational databases(must)
With Kubernetes (must)
Proven experience in automation and configuration management
Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix based systems
Hands on experience with one of the Cloud Platforms : GCP, Azure, AWS
Good understanding of Network Design and principles
TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), LoadBalancing, WAF, Edge caching
Previous experience in an operations or engineering role
Coding experience in one of the languages: Go(preferred) or Rust or Python. Experience with shell scripting
Will - a desire to excel, act with courage, persevere, learn and innovate

What the job involves

Develop, improve and maintain Ory Cloud Infrastructure:
Tooling and automation for operation processes such as cluster management, application deployment, DNS management, Load balancer management, real-time traffic management etc
CI/CD pipelines including the release
Internal, technical documentation for infrastructure and operations
Internal observability tooling
Security tooling
Tests (performance, stability, regression, end to end)
Contribute to improving infrastructure reliability, availability, scalability and security
Contribute to our Ory Network and Ory Enterprise Products
Participate in on-call rotations (shifts)
Participate in incident management processes
Contribute to identifying root causes and implementing fixes
Foster the DevOps principles and practices, promote the DevOps approach among other engineers and team members
Contribute to our Open Source projects and our team's Software Development Life Cycle

Demand for these services is rife as rising cyberattacks have prompted many companies to consider adopting a zero-trust architecture, which is said to enhance security efficacy by stopping data breaches by 144%. Indeed, Ory’s architecture is one leading companies are keen to deploy, with clients including Sainsbury’s and Blues Wireless.

The company recent funding will be used to build out its global network infrastructure, as well as setting up data privacy and GDPR-compliant processes, whilst launching a Security Operations Centre.
