Who you are

Have 2+ years work experience as React Native developer
Gained work experience with React Native stack, React and any state management libraries (Redux is a plus)
Can bootstrap a functional React Native application from scratch
Are accustomed with using GIT
Have a passion for experiencing new technologies and understand their applicability
Have very good knowledge of JavaScript (the bad, the good and the great parts)
Are a great team player with good interpersonal skills, adaptability and flexibility
Have excellent verbal & written communication skills in Romanian & English
Have the ability to take initiative, be proactive and solve problems on your own

What the job involves

Write elegant front-end code and functionality for mobile applications and interact with blockchain API’s to give users a seamless experience
Create new screens, modules and components that look and feel native on both iOS and Android platforms
Debug and fix issues related to React Native and its ecosystem
Participate in deciding the technological stack and path of our apps and development practices
Track down complex bugs and implement fixes without regressions
Help us change the world

Our take

Although most people are not engaging with the metaverse, large companies see it as the future. Enterprises such as Microsoft are bringing their apps and services to metaverse-enabled offices. MultiversX wants to bring more independent developers and users on board too, by providing a toolkit of products to allow people to join and build in the metaverse.

MultiversX isn't exactly starting from a clean slate: formerly known as Elrond, the company rebranded following the poor financial performance of its token in 2022. This pivot will allow MultiversX to retain its community and use its expertise in blockchain technologies to help develop infrastructure for the future of Web 3.0.

Since the rebrand, MultiversX has worked to become a key player in the onset of Web 3.0, for example through its xDay conferences dedicated to blockchain technology. With venture capital still pouring into metaverse projects, the company's pivot is so far looking to have been a wise one.
