Role
Who you are
- We are hiring a Principal Product Manager who has proven experience in building best-in-class SaaS products and features within ecommerce ecosystems
- We’re looking for someone who has experience building and driving the adoption of features in SaaS applications while having a keen eye for intuitive consumer-facing workflows
- The ideal candidate can quickly drive a project from idea to wide adoption, iterating on feedback to eliminate friction and help users accomplish their jobs to be done
- 10+ years of software product management experience in high-leverage roles
- 5+ years working in SaaS startups, ideally in ecommerce or retail fields
- Track record of creating highly intuitive and usable business- and consumer-facing experiences
- Ability to drive growth in ambiguous environments and bring others along
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and geographies
- Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data to set strategic goals while ensuring continuous measurement and iteration against it
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to flex your style based on the audience and effectively engage C-level executives
- Ability to keep perspective
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, economics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
Desirable
- Familiarity with Metabase, SQL, or similar business intelligence tools
- Technical background, from an ability to read and understand API documentation, to a formal education in programming
What the job involves
- You will be an integral leader and driver of the next wave of Narvar’s growth
- This role reports to the Director of Product Management
- Develop a deep understanding of our platform, application suite, market and customers to drive strategic planning and growth in returns, exchanges, delivery claims and similar capabilities
- Serve as a driving force for innovation in the customer and end user experience, working closely with design and research teams on developing the best UX for hundreds of millions of consumers
- Interface with clients to gather requirements, iterate on product features, and represent Narvar as a valuable business partner
- Build strong relationships and facilitate strategic alignment and decision-making with cross-functional leads and other product managers
- Identify and interpret immediate and/or upcoming client needs and work with the team to develop a product feature plan that addresses them
- Specify, prioritize, and communicate product requirements that contain user stories, business rules, flows, interaction design guidance, and use cases
- Define and analyze key product feature metrics to optimize features post-launch

The process that retailers go through to deliver products to customers is becoming increasingly complicated due to convoluted shipping networks and a global customer base. This means customer experience suffers as retailers must offer an overwhelming range of delivery options. Narvar aims to improve this situation with an integrated delivery and returns platform for retailers, providing analytics on client data to the retailer and optimises shipping channels for customers.
Narvar is a market leader in this sector, active in almost every country and territory worldwide and having made more than 2 billion shipments since its founding in 2012. Its post-purchase customer experience platform is used by over 1200 companies including household name retailers such as Sephora, GAP and Levis, among many others.
Narvar has secured many strategic partnerships such as linking up with Rise.ai, a leading gift card and store credit platform. This allows stores to simplify returns by enabling merchants to issue Rise's store credit as part of the returns process. While Narvar is currently focused on retailers providing shipping solutions for their customers, the company plans to expand to offer a B2B product in the near future.
