What the job involves
- As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for retaining and building Bigblue key accounts, the most promising European D2C brands, and play a central role in their success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants in your portfolio
- Support the various stakeholders in their day-to-day use of the Bigblue service
- Be a trusted advisor and a business advocate for our merchants
- Contribute to our merchant’s strategic development and identify metrics that drive growth
- Manage and deliver against complex goals where strategy is not defined. Make tradeoffs between short-term customer needs and longer-term company investment
- Identify new opportunities and upsell
- Study positive and negative merchant’s feedback trends. Establish improvement plans and manage expectations
- Use customer feedback and market trends to contribute to the development of new features and improve merchants’ experience with Bigblue
- Identify and optimize internal improvements that can benefit a large set of customers (e.g. driving efficiencies through tools and processes)

Consistent order fulfilment, logistics, and positive customer experiences are essential for the success of eCommerce businesses of any scale, but achieving this can be expensive - particularly for small businesses. Logistics providers often charge monthly rates that don't reflect the scale of a business, leaving businesses with no budget to optimize their customers' experiences.
Bigblue provides an eCommerce and customer-experience toolkit, providing end-to-end order fulfillment services such as product storage and package picking, personalized packaging, delivery, and inventory analytics. The company specifically focuses on providing its services to businesses of any scale by only charging for products that have been shipped, whilst also connecting directly with all major eCommerce platforms.
Bigblue’s main challenge will be competing with other logistics companies, including Cubyn, Hive and Huboo. Bigblue’s intelligent pricing system (which charges companies relative to their size), and its focus on providing an end-to-end customer experience, has set it apart. Combined with a $15 million raise in 2022, Bigblue is set to become an increasingly bigger part of the logistics market.
