Role
Who you are
- Have proven Agile experience (Kanban and LEAN strongly preferred)
- Know how to inspire and excite people about building our products
- Have great communication skills
- Have a proved track record of building, releasing and supporting software products (at least 4 years)
- Know how to write user stories and acceptance criteria working closely with their team
- Question any work that does not contribute to a measurable outcome
- Understand the importance of culture when delivering software
- Have domain knowledge related to B2C web and mobile applications
- Use probabilistic forecasting to help with predicting when software might be delivered
- Have a good awareness of technology
- Be able to “coach” internal and external stakeholders to follow an agile development ethos
Desirable
- Have experience of “marketplace” businesses
- Have worked with geographically dispersed teams
- Have worked in a startup environment in a previous role
- Have delivered presentations to evangelise agile methods at conferences or user groups
- Have experience building products in a number of industries
What the job involves
- We are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join our team
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping our teams deliver small batches of value to our customers
- You will work closely with our technology and product teams to streamline how we deliver software following the key underlying principles of agile
- We are not interested in certifications or Frankenstein frameworks like SAFE, we want Kaizen, customer centricity and experimentation
