- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategy, Investment Banking, or Public Accounting, including prior experience managing or mentoring team members
- Excel mastery and familiarity with Google Sheets
- Proficiency with SQL and/or other business intelligence tools (Alteryx, Looker, Power Query / BI, Tableau), a plus
- E-commerce, consumer products, or retail experience, a major plus
What the job involves
- FIGS is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue & Gross Margin to join the Finance team
- This person will report directly to the Senior Director, Revenue & Margin and will partner closely with Planning, Merchandising, Accounting, Data, and Operations
- This is a cross-functional, high-visibility role that requires someone who can operate as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders and hands-on with the data
- The ideal candidate has FP&A leadership experience & is energized by building scalable processes,supporting business partners, and shaping how the business thinks about Revenue and Gross Margin
- Own and lead Revenue & Margin forecasting for FIGS, overseeing weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analysis for business partners and executives
- Partner with the Data team to set the roadmap for real-time, data-driven analytical reporting of Revenue and Margin KPIs, ensuring the team’s tools and dashboards scale with the business
- Drive strategic process improvements in partnership with the Accounting team, identifying and closing gaps in how Revenue and Gross Margin are tracked, reported, and forecasted
- Lead special projects and ad hoc analyses that evaluate new opportunities and support major business decisions across Revenue and Gross Margin, often presenting findings and recommendations directly to senior leadership
- Build the future of the Revenue & Margin function: establish scalable processes, mentor and grow team members, and help define how the team operates as FIGS continues to grow
