Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience in marketing, with a focus on events and social media
Demonstrated experience in event management, including coordinating attendance at large industry conferences
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to support our team in events and social media outreach, the role is a temp, 4-month contract
Work with the Developer advocate to develop a calendar of Tyk-owned/hosted events
Plan and execute Tyk-owned/hosted events
Coordinate attendance at major industry conferences globally
Organise and manage regional meetups
Handle logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships
Order swag and other assets needed for conferences or events
Measure event success and report on key metrics
Liaise with the sales team to manage post-event follow-up and outreach
Develop and maintain a social media calendar aligned with the content strategy
Create and schedule engaging content across various platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
Monitor and respond to social media interactions
Analyse social media performance and suggest improvements
Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives
HubSpot operational support including event setup and execution
Contribute to content creation for various channels
Liaising with the sales team to support on sales/commercial initiatives
