What the job involves
- This role will support sensitive and high-pace projects across the legal teams that support our Security, Privacy, Financial Crimes, Strategic Response, and international regulatory work
- As such, it will be front and center on advising Coinbase stakeholders on critical, novel legal issues around the globe
- This role requires both the ability to provide legal counsel and manage/lead large, complicated projects that span cross-functional teams both inside and outside
- You will proactively assess and define potential risks, and identify recommendations in coordination with cross-functional subject matter experts on high-priority cross-functional matters
- You will drive these cross-functional projects and be responsible for ensuring effective execution
- You will quickly learn and synthesize information from a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to frame decisions and communicate clear updates and recommendations to company leadership on complex urgent and sensitive projects

With features like crypto wallets, direct bank account linking, and merchant payment tools, it's helping bring crypto into the mainstream. But the company isn't just relying on its early success, it's evolving fast to stay relevant in a rapidly changing market.
