Who you are
- 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in Sales Strategy, Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Strategic Finance, Consulting or related fields
- Proven success in sales strategy or business operations related to business metrics, operations, and revenue growth
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- Comfortable diving into data to develop recommendations based on partner feedback & business needs
- Strong communication skills to translate complex info into easily digestible insights and executive presentations
- Knowledge of Salesforce products desired or experience with comparable enterprise business technology tools
- Outstanding problem solving skills: consistent track record to ask questions, structure sophisticated problems, develop solutions and recommendations
- Highly collaborative style with strong networking skills across business functions
- Self-starter motivated to go above and beyond the task at hand and succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities, and best use
What the job involves
- Salesforce is looking for a highly motivated team member to structure, lead, deliver, and analyze sales programs in support of the Customer Success Group’s (CSG) Sales Organization, focused on delivering revenue for our Success Plan products (Premier & Signature)
- These sales programs are important tools in driving revenue growth
- The Analyst/Sr. Analyst, CSG Sales Programs & Strategy is responsible for all aspects of a program from creation, prioritization, execution, partner management, program performance reviews, organizational change, and review of program success
- The role will require business analysis and Salesforce reporting work, as well as the ability to partner and collaborate with team members throughout Salesforce
- This role will use data to evaluate business scenarios, plan efficiency initiatives, design processes, and deliver insights
- Deliverables include sales strategy, identifying focus areas, sales program proposals, sales enablement plans, custom performance analysis, process documentation, reporting, and dashboards to presentation-ready content for senior Salesforce leadership
- Identify and recommend areas of strategic focus for the global sales teams
- Lead multiple complex and strategic projects to support revenue growth
- Use data to execute, track, and report on the success of the strategic projects
- Provide management with summary of scope, timeline, requirements, benefits and ROI for each project
- Communicate risks clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies
- Leverage data and insights to monitor and make recommendations to the business for future Success Plan Sales programs
- Represent the Success Plan Sales team on broader cross-functional projects involving other parts of the business as needed
