- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of progressive Recruiting experience, including 5 years managing people
- Experience in high-growth environments, including experience spanning software, clinical and contact center roles preferred
- Proven track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
What the job involves
- The Director of Talent Acquisition is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of the organization's recruitment function
- This individual will lead a high-performing team to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent across all levels of the organization
- The Director will act as a primary advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, employer branding, and talent market trends, ensuring that the acquisition strategy aligns with long-term business objectives
- Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy that optimizes the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
- Headcount Planning: Collaborate with Finance and Senior Leadership to facilitate annual headcount planning and ensure the recruitment team is positioned to meet organizational growth targets
- Seasonal Modeling: Design and manage scalable hiring models to address seasonal staffing fluctuations and operational demands
- Executive Search: Personally manage full-cycle recruitment for leadership positions, ensuring a high-touch experience for senior candidates
- Employer Value Proposition (EVP): Partner with the Marketing and People teams to define and amplify the employer brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling candidate experience
- Candidate Experience: Establish and maintain rigorous standards for candidate engagement to enhance the organization’s reputation in the talent market
- Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition team, providing mentorship, performance coaching, and professional development opportunities
- Operational Excellence: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for the recruiting team to drive accountability and results
- Performance Metrics: Utilize data-driven insights to communicate hiring progress and pipeline health to stakeholders. Leverage analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Vendor & Tech Management: Partner with HR Operations to evaluate, implement, and manage the recruitment technology stack (ATS, CRM, AI tools) and external search firm relationships
Our take
PBMs (Pharmacy Benefit Managers) save payers and patients 40% to 50% on prescription drug and related medical costs in the US, compared to what they would spend without them. It’s generally accepted, though, that PBMs are working for profit and not solely on the customers benefit.
SmithRx is a company looking to reduce complications in the current system with its innovative PBM structure. It uses its cloud-based technology to present the most cost effective options transparently to self-insured businesses, supporting them in getting the lowest cost drugs they can, as well as making the transition to these alternatives seamless.
It does this by partnering with innovative drug companies, as well as applying coupons and making use of available savings and assistance programs. As the company does not take economics from the supply chain, it is able to work for its customers with no hidden agendas. And with significant growth, cost savings, customer satisfaction, and market traction in 2024, the company is very much on track for continued success.
