Who you are

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Three (3) years of experience in the position offered, as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, Data Warehousing Engineer or related occupation
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Talend, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or Informatica
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Google cloud bucket, Google cloud fusion, Google Big Query, and Google Analytics)
Performance-tuning techniques
Realtime streaming implementation and architecture
Building reports and data visualization with any BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI
Data organization and experience with ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load /Extract, Load, Transform) processes
Designing resilient data pipelines
AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCP technologies (S3, SQS, Redshift, Kinesis, Google cloud bucket, cloud data fusion, Google Big Query)
Java and Python and their respective build and packaging systems
NoSQL (not only Structured Query Language) databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Druid, Hive, and Presto; and
Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, Redshift, and DocumentDB)

What the job involves

As a Data Engineer, you’ll help design the highly specialized data collection infrastructure in support of Centerfield's proprietary Data Architecture
Help design the highly specialized data collection infrastructure in support of Centerfield's proprietary Data Architecture
Aid the team with troubleshooting, researching the root cause, and resolving technical defects in the event of a problem
Help to implement technical maintenance strategies for all specialized datasets
Work with relevant stakeholders to deliver appropriate Bl (Business Intelligence), data warehousing, reporting, and analytical infrastructure required to support Centerfield's assets
Own problems from end-to-end, in order to collect, extract, and clean the data
