Who you are
- AI-native mindset: you already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) regularly in your work or studies, and you're excited to go deeper
- Analytically strong: you're comfortable with data, whether that's Excel, SQL, a BI tool, or just clear logical thinking from a spreadsheet

- Comfortable with travel to UK fulfilment sites (expenses covered)

What the job involves
- This is an internship for someone smart, curious and excited to jump in, learn fast and make a real impact. As a Business Operations Intern, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations — getting hands-on experience ensuring orders are delivered on time and customers are happy
- You will be embedded in our fulfilment network, gaining real exposure to how a modern operations team runs. Your time with us is about learning the fundamentals of great operations — understanding how orders flow, how data drives decisions, and how strong relationships keep everything running smoothly
- You'll combine hands-on operational work with analytical tasks and use AI tools to surface insights and find smarter ways of working
- 1. Support the Daily Operation Be the person who helps keep things moving. Work closely with the internal team to make sure orders go out on time, escalations are handled, and nothing falls through the cracks
- 2. Work with Data Help spot patterns in issues, track KPIs, and turn operational data into clear observations. You'll pull together reports and contribute to dashboards, building your analytical skills along the way
- 3. Augment with AI You'll actively use AI tools (we use Claude heavily) to make yourself and the team more effective — whether that's drafting communications, summarising data, or finding faster ways to do recurring tasks. We want someone who sees AI as a genuine force multiplier
- 4. Support Our Sellers Our customers are e-commerce sellers who depend on us to get things right. You'll learn how to be their advocate internally, with a focus on clear, warm and confident communication
- 5. See the Operation First-Hand You may get the opportunity to visit fulfilment centres across the UK to understand how things actually work — from the packing bench to the loading bay. Seeing the operation in person is one of the best ways to learn
Application process
- 1. We like to get to know you and your motivations in a 30-minute chat with the Bezos Ops team
- 2. If we both agree that there is a fit, we would like to get to know the way you work and communicate. For this, we will send you an analytical data exercise (2-3h) to prepare before the next call
- 3. In the next 30-min call with our Ops team and our founder, we will ask you to present your answers and recommendations to us
- 4. If you are successful we will make you an offer
Our take
Bezos.ai was founded to make a difference for the increasing number of companies selling online. It provides a one-stop-shop for eCommerce logistics, allowing sellers to eliminate the hassle of handling storage, last-mile delivery, returns, and fulfilment. This reduces their operational complexity and allows businesses to focus on sales and growth.
Bezos isn't alone in riding the eCommerce wave, with a host of competing third party logistics providers offering similar services. However, it stands apart with its wide range of integrations, supporting more than 30 eCommerce platforms, while offering real time order tracking and 2 hour ticket response time as standard. It also has fulfilment centres across the UK and Europe, allowing for rapid delivery and returns across a far larger territory than the competition.
It does this while focusing on sustainability. The company has received grants from the UK government for green delivery, green packaging as well as tools for sustainable fulfilment. Bezos is committed to helping clients with delivery options and speed whilst also reducing waste and emissions, and this has helped it compete and grow steadily in an increasingly crowded marketplace.
