Who you are

1-3 years’ experience in paid social or performance marketing, either within an agency or DTC environment
Strong hands-on experience managing and optimising campaigns across Meta and TikTok
A highly analytical, performance-first mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable creative insights
Experience working within advanced performance marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Atria), or a strong aptitude for quickly adopting new optimisation and testing frameworks
Comfortable working closely with Growth and Creative teams to deliver high-performing, insight-led campaigns
A test-and-learn mentality, with experience contributing ideas, hypotheses and learnings to broader acquisition strategy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling start-up environment with high standards and high accountability

What the job involves

Development and execution of paid social campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and direct conversion
Work closely with the Growth Lead to deliver efficient, scalable customer acquisition through rigorous testing, optimisation and iteration
Use tools, including Atria, to support campaign optimisation, creative testing, audience development and performance analysis
Collaborate closely with the wider content engine, including Creative Strategists and Video Editors, to brief, test and refine high-performing ad creative, informed by performance insights
Produce and test lo-fi, performance-optimised creative assets (e.g. UGC-style ads, hooks, variations) to support rapid experimentation and iteration
Translate performance data into actionable creative insights, helping inform briefs, iterations and future creative direction
Contribute ideas, hypotheses and learnings that help shape Simmer’s broader acquisition and growth strategy
Stay up to date with platform changes, performance trends and best practices across paid social

Simmer was founded in 2017 when Simmy was fed up of seeing fellow students at university always having to live off bad-quality and expensive ready meals and takeaways. He noticed that there was a gap in the market for convenient, high-quality and delicious food, at a price even students could afford.

After achieving popularity with students, Simmy got his brother Jhai and their mother on board, growing the business with a family-first mindset. Its meals are hand made by a passionate team who are determined to extend the benefits of a healthy diet - on energy levels, mental health, and confidence - to everyone.

Simmer's meals are all highly convenient and quick to prepare, reducing the stress associated with food preparation and freeing up busy people's time. It also combines a healthy nutritional balance (with a particular focus on protein, and varying portion sizes to meet the needs of its clientele) with delicious flavours.

Since its founding, Simmer serves hundreds of people weekly, including reality TV stars and Premier League football winners. Alongside this, it frequently donates food to local homeless charities, furthering its mission of giving people access to a healthy, happy life.
