What the job involves
- With a growing SaaS portfolio across Europe, North America and Australia we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Paris. This is a unique opportunity to design, build, test, and maintain software applications that meet customer needs and solve real-world problems. 🌍
- Our tech stack features a Ruby on Rails monolith, mobile apps for Android and iOS, and data stored in PostgreSQL. Our frontend is built with React, while Python powers our exciting machine-learning tools
- As a data-driven business, we integrate with numerous other accounting software and third-party services to automate data capture and transmission.
- Create clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Design features that are robust, scalable, and secure
- Develop a full-stack application using Ruby nRails, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
- Engage in every stage of the development lifecycle
- Adopt best practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards
- Encourage the ongoing adoption and integration of exciting new technologies into our design
Our take
Dext was the first software company to automatically process information from uploaded images of receipts and invoices, cutting down the time lost to manually sorting them.
There's a good in-built virality for this kind of business, with accountants recommending the product to their customers as it makes both of their lives easier.
Dext has made several key hires to continue its growth trajectory, including a new CEO, CPO and Technology Officer. It will be important for them to continue to stay at the forefront of the technology, add on more useful features and continue forging partnerships with accountancy companies to stay ahead of the competition.
