Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in software development, technical consulting, product management or solutions engineering, ideally in a B2B context
- Strong, diverse technical skills and a deep understanding of Javascript/Typescript and cloud computing. Knowledge of telephony communication is a plus
- Autonomous working style. You are able to take ownership of a task from inception to completion
- Basic knowledge of machine learning or conversational AI is appreciated
- Strong interest in customer communication, digital voice assistants and other innovations, chatbots, and (Conversational) AI
What the job involves
- As Solution Engineer at Parloa, you are responsible for providing technical advice to our customers, integrating Parloa into their technical infrastructure, and engineering cloud-based services and tools
- As part of our dedicated Solutions Engineering team, you will be an interface between our engineering, customer success and sales teams, and contribute to the success of the Parloa platform and customer projects
- Co-create technical solutions together with our customers and their technical teams
- Consult our customers and your non-technical colleagues on all technical topics such as conversational AI, integrations of customer backend and telephone systems, as well as technical voice bot logic
- Build serverless web services using TypeScript and cloud systems on Microsoft Azure to extend our product and provide custom functionality for important customers
- Support the customer success team and their clients with your JavaScript skills to implement custom voice bot logic directly in Parloa according to the customers’ needs, and come up with robust flows considering all edge cases
- Collaborate on data analytics to enable clear and correct insights and reportings into the customers’ voice bots using Python, SQL and/or Kibana, PowerBI
- Look for new opportunities to improve our product and the value we provide to our customers. Collaborate with the product team to share insights and evaluate changes
