Role
Who you are
- Have 2–4 years of experience in infrastructure or DevOps engineering
- Bring solid, hands-on experience with AWS and feel confident navigating its ecosystem
- Have a strong grasp of networking fundamentals, including routing, subnets and security groups
- Are familiar with cloud security best practices and are eager to learn more
- Can write and maintain scripts or tools in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
- Enjoy collaborating with others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a culture where infrastructure is treated as a product - well-documented, maintainable and built with long-term impact in mind

What the job involves
- As a platform engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our software, including active contributions to our security posture and operational excellence
- You’ll collaborate closely with fellow engineers to support infrastructural and security needs, helping to scale SPARETECH’s platform as we grow
- This role offers hands-on experience with a modern tech stack including AWS, Terraform, MongoDB Atlas, ElasticSearch, Auth0, and GitHub Actions. In our small, collaborative team, your ideas will directly influence infrastructure decisions and shape how we build and operate our systems
- Be part of a small, collaborative team where your ideas are valued and your contributions shape the future of our infrastructure
- Strengthen our security posture by implementing new solutions and improving existing systems, with real ownership over security-related initiatives
- Influence how we use AWS as we evolve our cloud architecture and scale our platform
- Develop and evolve our IaC practices using Terraform and help shape how we build and manage infrastructure going forward
- Collaborate across teams to co-create solutions, improve developer experience and support the growth of SPARETECH’s platform
