Who you are
- The ideal candidate brings a high degree of professionalism, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to interface effectively with senior engineering leadership
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting coordination or talent operations within a fast-paced technology environment
- Technical Literacy: Demonstrated ability to source for technical roles and a foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Talent Tools Proficiency with Greenhouse or a similar ATS system, LinkedIn Recruiter, Endorsed or similar sourcing tools (Gem, Tofu), as well as Google Suite, Zoom, & Slack
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex scheduling conflicts with poise and clarity
- Operational Excellence: A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
What the job involves
- As we continue to expand our technical organization, we are seeking a high-performing, experienced Technical Recruiting Coordinator to join us for a peak hiring season for the next 3-4 months
- The Seasonal Technical Recruiting Coordinator will serve as a vital operational partner to our Talent Acquisition team
- This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics of the interview process and supporting the engineering pipeline through strategic candidate sourcing
- End-to-End Scheduling & Assessments Manage complex, multi-stage interview loops for software engineering and technical product roles across various time zones, as well as sending out and tracking various technical assessments through a 3rd party provider
- Candidate Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience that reflects Shopmonkey’s professional standards
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and interview panels to optimize calendar availability and ensure timely feedback loops
- Systems Management: Maintain meticulous data integrity within Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate records and interview stages are updated in real-time
- Pipeline Development: Assist with identifying and engaging passive technical talent through Endorsed & LinkedIn Recruiter, as well as specialized technical networks
- Role Alignment: Conduct initial profile screenings to ensure candidates meet both the culture core values as well as experience needed
- Diversity & Inclusion: Execute sourcing strategies that prioritize a diverse candidate pool, contributing to a balanced and inclusive workforce

The startup has recently formed a partnership with Affirm, allowing repair shops to offer flexible pay-over-time options and making it easier for customers to manage the cost of maintenance and repairs.
