Who you are

  • Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Marketing Operations in a B2B SaaS scale-up
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and experience working on large data sets
  • Experience in Salesforce (Sales Cloud)
  • Experience in working with data enrichment 3rd parties (Zoominfo, Clearbit, Apollo, Cognism, etc.)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing and Data
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Sales Leaders and Sales Individual Contributors
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

What the job involves

  • The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will act as a Revenue Operations business partner to the SDR team, collaborating with regional SDR leaders and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for owning and continuously improving elements of the sales process, ensuring a structured operating cadence, and providing actionable insights into pipeline health, sales activity and sales achievements
  • As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with the Sales leadership team and Marketing Operations to improve processes, optimise sales performance, and drive efficiencies across the organisation
  • Be a key point of contact between Sales management and RevOps
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the prospecting and sales process and work with sales leadership to implement solutions that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the SDR team
  • Drive consistency in sales practices, ensuring that teams follow best practices and adhere to established processes from lead qualification through to demo calls
  • Collaborate with sales enablement and training teams to ensure that the sales process is well-documented, well-understood, and continuously refined based on feedback from the field
  • Own and maintain aspects of the prospect database in CRM (Salesforce) for Sales
  • Drive data quality and hygiene of company and contact data in CRM
  • Own contact GTM tools that support data enrichment (e-mail and phone numbers) in CRM
  • Partner with Revenue/Business Systems and Data team to ensure correct data flows between 3rd party tools and CRM
  • In charge of territory/portfolio carving and management for SDRs and Sales Executives
  • In charge of day-to-day support and troubleshooting of account Portfolios/Territories in Salesforce
  • Support definition and refinement of Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for TravelPerk
  • Support definition and implementation of automation and AI use cases in prospecting workflows (enrichment, co-pilots, personalisation)

Our take

Although business travellers are often at the forefront of driving company growth, booking travel is typically a logistical nightmare as corporate travel tools are underdeveloped and stuck way in the past. TravelPerk has built a platform free from micromanagement, creating an experience that puts business travellers first.

TravelPerk's number of active users has grown year on year. Further, as well as more customers using the platform, those on it are using it more regularly. This is a clear signal that TravelPerk has a product market fit and is in scaling mode. The company has more than 2,000 customers, including scaleups like Revolut, Farfetch and Beyond Meat.

According to TravelPerk, its unit economics are strong already, which puts it in a strong position to grow without diluting itself too much through investment. The company is still innovating and said it is planning to release more products that will give the business traveller more freedom and flexibility than ever before. Its new Edinburgh hub and partnership with fintech unicorn Pleo, TravelPerk is undoubtedly committing to a period of scaling. Exemplifying this is its Series D funding of $104 million awarded in January 2024, which will boost TravelPerk's AI and automation capabilities to aid its growth.
