Who you are
- 3-6 years of experience with a combination of management consulting, technology investment banking, venture capital, and/or startup operations
- Located in the US or Canada

What the job involves
- As a Business Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of our company
- This role reports to the VP of Business Operations and comes with the exciting responsibility of advancing critical strategic initiatives
- Business Operations serves as the swiss-army knife of the organization - you’ll work on a diverse set of projects and no two weeks will be the same
- You will collaborate extensively with leaders from various departments, including Product, Engineering, GTM, People, and Finance
- This role offers unique visibility into a hyper-growth startup, providing the opportunity to shape its trajectory and make a substantial impact
- Spearhead goal setting and closely monitor progress, promptly identifying and addressing deviations from goals in collaboration with leadership
- Contribute to strategic planning by defining OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
- Ensure that every employee at Fingerprint has access to the right information at the right time, supporting better decisions and clarity among leadership
- Experiment, analyze, and develop recommendations that enable better business decisions
- Facilitate the operational rhythm for Fingerprint’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), encompassing agenda setting for ELT and SLT business reviews, action item tracking, and driving accountability
- Partner with leaders throughout the organization to ensure widespread adoption of the company-wide operating system, fostering continuous improvements as we evolve and learn
- Create processes that streamline knowledge sharing and best remote work practices throughout the organization
- Become a Notion expert and help improve it as our Single Source of Truth (SSOT)
- Roll up your sleeves and help wherever there is a critical need in the organization
Our take
Digital fingerprinting is an essential process in web browsers that tracks the digital address of a device to monitor web activity. This technique facilitates the identification of fraud and spam, as well as warning signs of account takeovers. However, the success of this requires users to accept cookies, a requirement that is easy to avoid.
Fingerprint provides a digital fingerprinting tool that generates a unique identifier of browser activity without requiring the user to accept cookies. The service uses the same WebGL and canvas fingerprinting utilized by existing competitors, but instead of focusing on devices, it identifies web activity. Suspicious activity will result in the identified user being logged in a database, allowing the service to be improved for others.
With this innovative approach, Fingerprint has been able to build up an impressive client roster of over 6,000 companies, including 16% of the top 500 websites by traffic. As well as displaying sustained growth through funding rounds, the company has also continued to improve upon its offering.
