Who you are
- The ideal candidate will know all the major US sports well, and basketball, expertly
- You must be a fantastic communicator capable of leading a growing team and have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of platforms and emerging digital trends
- This person should have basketball knowledge inside out both on social and broadcast, be comfortable devising and delivering high-level content strategies and campaigns on behalf of one of the world’s biggest companies and being answerable to our performance on a day-to-day basis
- They should be organized, proactive and accountable, empowering our team to deliver daily results while remaining dialled in on our long-term goals and aspirations
- We want a fantastic communicator, a discerning and empathetic leader, and an awesome team player
- Consummate knowledge of high-profile league (basketball) social media landscape in the US to ensure our content shines on every platform
- Exceptional client management skills
- A proven track record in successful content creation across social media, ideally for a basketball team, a club or a broadcaster
- Confident creating and executing comprehensive content strategies to deliver ambitious goals against KPIs
- A commitment to creative innovation across all facets of our output
- Comfortable working to brand guidelines and tight deadlines
- A real team player who inspires and empowers those around them with a keen eye on their progress and development
- A knowledge of production best practice, including the creative and video production landscape

What the job involves
- Two Circles’ Content Capability maximizes the impact of sports content through content strategy consultancy, multi-format content production and channel management
- We are looking to hire an experienced Social Media Lead to join our talented and growing content team in North America
- This is a unique and exciting role to help alter the social landscape in North America and to play a key role in shaping the rapid expansion of the Two Circles Content Capability
- We are looking for a social media expert to lead a new project for one of our biggest global clients
- Leading a major new project for our main content client in North America
- Formulating and executing a multi-platform content strategy for said client along with senior leadership and delivering against ambitious key measurement indicators
- Managing, motivating and developing a team to consistently deliver on targets in a fast-paced environment
- Spearheading our always-on coverage of the high-profile league (basketball) knowledge producing excellent results daily both in and out of our rights portfolio
- Joining up 2C teams in multiple locations with immaculate organization and logistical acumen
- Planning and executing content campaigns around tentpole moments of the year in a busy calendar
- Ensuring our content stands out and attracts engagement in a crowded space
- Forging a distinct and appropriate tone of voice across our platforms, always with sensitivity to the client’s brand and principles
- Helping said client to leverage existing high-profile talent relationships and ideate on new features, content strands and collaborations
- Knowledge and appreciation of integrated services like marketing, campaigns, paid media and sports sponsorship
- Working closely with our wider content team to drive innovation and creativity on all our social accounts, always striving to improve performance
- Identify opportunities for appropriate collaborations on our accounts with leagues, teams, clubs and creators
- Building strong relationships with the platforms and keeping up-to-date with new products and services as well as tech and algorithm changes
- Working closely with our insights team to consistently monitor and tweak output with a view to improving performance
- Researching, reporting, presenting for internal and external requirements
- Running paid media campaigns on all our platforms
- Develop strong relationships with other areas of the Two Circles business as well as the wider Content Capability in multiple locations globally

Two Circles works with more than 300 sports rights holders including the likes of the NFL, UEFA, F1, and the ICC as well as $1bn sponsorship revenues. A series of acquisitions have contributed to the expansion of the business - for example, that of Australia-based digital specialist Codeware, which came alongside the opening of a Melbourne office, has enabled it to grow its presence in the Oceania region and bolster its tech offering
