Role
Who you are
- Sales Experience – Experience in telemarketing, lead qualification, or inside sales
- Clear Communication – Ability to communicate clearly and confidently over the phone and in writing
- Conversational Skill – Naturally inquisitive, with the ability to probe tactfully and guide a conversation
- Product Knowledge – A quick learner who can absorb product knowledge and confidently explain it to others
- CRM Accuracy – Strong attention to detail and CRM discipline
- Target Orientation – Comfortable working towards daily/weekly targets (e.g. contact rate, booking rate)

- We are looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales Development Representative to join our central contact centre team
- You’ll be the first voice our potential customers hear after they submit an enquiry through our website, partner portals, or online lead generators
- Your mission is to qualify inbound leads, understand customer intent, answer product-related questions, and book the next stage of our sales journey—whether that’s a face-to-face survey, remote consultation, or direct sales call
- Customer Communication – Follow up promptly with inbound leads from web forms, digital ads, and third-party referral sites
- Consultative Sales – Engage in consultative conversations to understand customer needs, eligibility, and urgency
- Service Knowledge – Answer common questions regarding our services, processes, pricing, and appointment scheduling
- Lead Qualification – Assess lead quality using qualifying criteria (e.g. property type, location, ownership status, energy needs)
- Appointment Scheduling – Book appointments into the correct stage of the pipeline:
- Home surveys
- Remote video/phone consultations
- Sales/Design representative calls
- CRM Management – Record all interactions in our CRM and keep data clean and accurate
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to improve handover quality and conversion rates

Boilers were typically installed by prominent brands at premium prices or by independent tradesmen who the customer might not trust. Hometree provides a more transparent, convenient and trustworthy service of boiler installation and maintenance.
Having established its presence in the boiler sector, Hometree has expanded into a full range of home services including green energy installations and financing. The company offers a variety of affordable home care plans covering not only boilers, but general heating and home care to help consumers lead a more sustainable life.
Hometree is taking a fresh approach to home cover, avoiding the traditional problems of poor service, complicated pricing, and confusing products. Its approach has won significant funding in an oversubscribed Series B round, coinciding with the acquisition of financing platform BeWarm, solar energy supplier the Little Green Energy Company and renewable energy installers Geowarmth. Off the back of further debt funding, Hometree's plan now is to expand across Europe.
