Role
Who you are
- Deep technical knowledge of the production requirements for diverse assets (web, ads, ASO, emails etc)
- High proficiency in figma and adobe creative cloud (photoshop, illustrator, after effects). you can jump into any file and fix it
- Experience with gen-AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude for creative workflows) and a genuine curiosity for adopting new AI technologies
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams
- Team leadership, mentorship, and process optimization
- You excel at identifying bottlenecks and finding ways to get work done, whether that’s reprioritizing a list or doing the design yourself
- Creative partner, agency, and vendor management
- Strategic resource planning & creative operations management
- 5+ years of creative experience, with at least 3 years leading teams in a high-velocity, performance-driven environment (either in-house or agency)
- Proven success driving creative excellence across multiple channels (performance, social, influencer, brand, and CTV) in a high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of creative testing, iteration, and performance data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and build scalable creative processes
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related creative discipline
What the job involves
- Creative Operations & Traffic Management: Serve as the operational hub for the department, triaging and prioritizing the daily intake of requests across DTC and B2B under the direction of the Creative Director
- You don’t just manage tasks, you partner with internal stakeholders to refine briefs and ensure team bandwidth in Asana is always aligned with the departmental priorities set by leadership
- Creative Performance & Optimization: Partner with the UA team to translate performance data into actionable ad concepts
- Collaborate on the "creative loop," testing and iterating on hooks, value props and bodies to ensure our assets are constantly evolving and resonating with our audience
- Multi-Channel & Web Production: Own the production lifecycle for all non-motion and down-funnel assets, from ads and sweepstakes to email campaigns
- You will serve as the primary creative lead for our external web and ASO agencies, providing tactical design and copy feedback to ensure every touchpoint is cohesive, compliant, and optimized for conversion
- Hands-on Design & Execution: You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
- You’ll personally handle some design tasks, jump into Figma to polish layouts, or troubleshoot files whenever the team needs an extra hand to get a high priority project across the finish line
- Tactical Creative Review: Provide daily feedback to designers and copywriters
- You aren’t just checking for what looks good or surface level brand alignment, you are the critical eye ensuring every asset is clear, legally compliant, and built to truly resonate with our players and publishers
- Team Mentorship: Manage and coach a talented team of graphic designers and copywriters, fostering a culture of curiosity, rapid iteration, and accountability
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve internal workflows to enable faster delivery
- You’ll manage our asset libraries and templates to ensure the team spends less time on "busy work" and more time on high-impact design
- Tools & Technologies:
- Adobe Creative Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Figma for collaborative design and prototyping
- Gen-AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, and an openness to exploring new AI-driven design and copy tools.)

Our take
Customer retention in mobile gaming can lead to increased ad revenue and more immersive experiences. Mistplay is a loyalty program helping publishers achieve a higher hit rate on their games, whilst simultaneously rewarding gamers for their loyalty.
Its loyalty programme involves curated game recommendation libraries and rewards for partaking in challenges and tournaments. Publishers gain increased ad revenue for partnering with Mistplay, as well as the chance to capitalise on a 6 million+ user base. Indeed, Mistplay has grown significantly since its launch in 2016, resulting in a buyout by GrowthCurve Capital in 2021.
Whilst it mainly focused on Android devices up until 2025, the release of Mistplay for iPhone marks a step up for the company. Its advertising and loyalty programmes can now reach an even larger consumer base, indicating a promising future for the pioneering ad and gaming platform.
